We develop both the elite and the social athlete

Little Athletics within the Gold Coast Athletics Club started almost 50 years ago and when we first imagined Gold Coast Athletics back in 2015 our vision was a holistic, long-term plan that encompassed not only the elite athlete but also the social athlete and the community at large.
The greatest asset for our athletes is the social atmosphere within Little Athletics which isn’t always present in senior athletics clubs. We wish to provide that atmosphere to all athletes regardless of age or ability.

⭐️⭐️ For those who are attending State Championships this weekend, our team manager is Nicole Hoy. Please check in with her as you arrive & depart.💈We will be in the main grandstand, 2nd staircase. Look for the GCA banner. It would be great if all athletes and families congregated together near this banner to share the experience and meet other clubmates & unite families.🔹Parents are responsible for ensuring their children make it to their events. Please be at the stadium no later than 1 hour before your first scheduled event. They do bring events forward when possible re time schedules. Please leave adequate travelling time.If there are any issues contact Nicole. 💈 Please do not leave messages on Facebook as it will not be monitored except to update any changes eg weather.🔹All athletes need to be in full uniform and of most importance when receiving medals or awards. This is your warning, No excuses at this event. 🔹So have your rego number on the front of your club shirt/singlet/crop, age patch on the left sleeve (or left leg if no sleeve), and Coles patch on the right chest. Only our Club shorts (black) may be worn. If wearing skins under shorts, only black skins may be worn and must be covered with shorts (Boys).
